Jewelry Trend Report - Leaves and Feathers

Shopping today for fall and every where I turned: feathers and leaves. Not just long feather earrings any more...now every jewelry case in every store has metal leaves earrings, sparkling feather necklaces, huge flower-y, leaf-y bracelets and the list goes on. Everywhere.
Feathers and leaves have been a jewelry design staple for decades, you can find all sorts of great vintage pieces to mix in with your new trendy jewelry.

Black and white vintage jewelry

Black and white...always a fashion staple for spring and summer. You can make that statement in your jewelry as well. Black and white, and black and clear has been a popular color combo in vintage jewelry going back nearly 100 years. From Art Deco to the mod '60s and again in the 1980's, there are examples of black and white jewels everywhere. Use of beads, pearls, plastics and rhinestones, it can be subtle or dramatic, bold or elegant, or just plain fun and funky....here are just a few examples:
